Stodmarsh has been occupied since at least at least Saxon times. The manor was given to the monastery of St Augustine in Canterbury in 686 by king Eadric of Kent. It was originally a separate civil parish but was added to Wickhambreaux parish in 1934.

Grove Ferry Picnic Area Grove Ferry Picnic Area is near Upstreet, in Kent, on the site of an old hand-drawn ferry that once crossed the River Stour. It is beside the Grove Ferry Public House, built in 1831 and now managed by Shepherd Neame.

Church of St Mary the Virgin, Fordwich The Church of St Mary the Virgin is a redundant Anglican church in the small town of Fordwich, Kent. It is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a Grade I listed building. The church is under the care of the Churches Conservation Trust.

St Mary’s Church, Wingham St Mary’s Church is an Anglican parish church in Wingham, Kent. It is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade I listed building.
