Scotstoun history
Scotstoun was until the early 1860s the site of the Oswald family estate. By 1861 the westward expansion of the Clyde shipbuilding yards had reached the area. The southern part of the area is characterised by late 19th/ early 20th century tenements. The north is a grid-like estate of mainly terraced cottage style villas with distinctive English styling.

Moorepark, Glasgow
Moorepark is a small area in the Scottish city of Glasgow. Situated south of the River Clyde and part of the former Burgh of Govan. It was colloquially referred to as ‘Wine Alley’ during the 20th century.
