Holy Trinity Church, Hurdsfield Holy Trinity Church is in Hurdsfield Road, Macclesfield, Cheshire. The church is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade II listed building.
Tegg’s Nose Tegg’s Nose is a hill east of Macclesfield in Cheshire, England. It has a high point of 380 metres (1246 feet) at SJ947725, terminating in a promontory at the southern end. It lies on the western edge of the Peak District, although outside the national park.
Holy Trinity Church, Rainow Holy Trinity Church is in the village of Rainow, Cheshire, England. It is an active Anglican parish church in the deanery of Macclesfield, the archdeaconry and the diocese of Chester. The church is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade II listed building.
Hough Hole House Hough Hole House dates from 1660 and was altered and extended in 1796. Engineering works were added in the 1850s and incorporated into the house during the 20th century. The house is recorded in the National Heritage List as a Grade II listed building.
Mellor’s Gardens Mellor’s Gardens are the gardens of Hough Hole House in Rainow, Cheshire. They were created by James Mellor, a local industrialist, and are a representation of John Bunyan’s The Pilgrim’s Progress. The gardens are listed at Grade II in the Register of Historic Parks and Gardens.

Leonard Haigh Leonard Haigh won seven caps for England between 1910 and 1911. He also represented Manchester and Lancashire. He enlisted with the Army Service Corps at the start of the First World War.
