Castle Wemyss Castle Wemyss was a large mansion on the southern shore of the Firth of Clyde . It stood on the south side of the firth of the Clyde at Wemyess Point, Scotland .

Newark Castle, Port Glasgow Newark Castle is a well-preserved castle sited on the south shore of the estuary of the River Clyde in Port Glasgow, Inverclyde, Scotland . For centuries this location was used to offload seagoing ships, and led to the growth of Port Glasgow close to the castle on either side and to the south .

Loch Thom Loch Thom is a reservoir which since 1827 has provided a water supply to Greenock in Inverclyde, Scotland . It is named after civil engineer Robert Thom who designed the scheme which created the reservoir and delivered water via a long aqueduct known as The Cut . The loch is now used for sport fishing and forms part of the Clyde Muirshiel Regional Park .
