Morningthorpe (sometimes Morning Thorpe) is a village 20km south of Norwich. It is situated some 20km (12 mi) south of the city of Norwich, Norfolk. The village was struck by an F1/T2 tornado on 23 November 1981, as part of a nationwide tornado outbreak.
