Hartfield geography / climate

The main village of Hartfield lies seven miles (11.2 km) south-west of Royal Tunbridge Wells. It lies on the B2110 road between Groombridge and Forest Row at the B2026 road between Edenbridge and Maresfield.

Buckhurst Park, Sussex Buckhurst Park is the seat of William Sackville, 11th Earl De La Warr. The house is a Grade II listed building, and is open to the public. The park is Grade II* listed in the National Register of Historic Parks and Gardens.

Arun Valley line The Arun Valley line, also known as the Mid Sussex line, is part of the Southern- and Thameslink-operated railway services. Many stations on this line retain the short platforms which were originally built, not being extended by the Southern Railway when the line was modernised in the 1930s.
