Spital-in-the-Street Spital-in-the-Street is a small hamlet in the West Lindsey district of Lincolnshire. It is situated 12 miles (19 km) north from Lincoln, 9 miles (14 km) east from Gainsborough. Nearby villages include Hemswell to the west, Glentham to the east and Glentworth to the south.

St Peter’s Church, Normanby by Spital St Peter’s Church is a redundant Anglican church in Normanby by Spital, Lincolnshire. It is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade I listed building. The church stands close to the former Roman road, Ermine Street, now the A15 road.
