Ramsgate power station Ramsgate power station supplied electricity to the town of Ramsgate, Kent, England from 1905 to 1958. The station was operated by the Ramsgate and District Electric Supply Company Limited until the nationalisation of the British electricity supply industry in 1948.

Lord of the Manor, Kent The Lord of the Manor is a former pub and road junction near Cliffsend on the Isle of Thanet in Kent. The former pub is now a former road junction in the area.

Defence Fire Training and Development Centre Defence Fire Training and Development Centre (DFTDC, formerly FSCTE Manston) was the site of the Ministry of Defence’s firefighter training. It occupied part of a former Royal Air Force base near the village of Manston. The remainder of the former RAF Manston was part of Kent International Airport, a civilian airfield, until the site was closed on 15 May 2014.
