Broadbottom landmarks
Best Hill Mill was started in 1784 by John Marsland, but closed in 1884. Hodge Printworks started out as a woollen mill in 1798. Best Hill mill reopened in the 20th century to make tape and webbing for use in World War I. In the 1840s there were 1,200 people working there.

St Michael and All Angels Church, Mottram
St Michael and All Angels Church stands on Warhill overlooking the village of Mottram in Longdendale, Greater Manchester.
