Moorside clean energy hub Moorside clean energy hub is a proposal put forward on 30 June 2020 by two consortia, one led by EDF and the other by Rolls-Royce. The hub would produce electricity and hydrogen through the use of nuclear power and renewable energy. It would be constructed on the cancelled nuclear power station site, abandoned by Toshiba in 2018.

St John, Beckermet St John, Beckermet is in Beckermet, Cumbria, England. It is an Anglican parish church in the deanery of Calder and the diocese of Carlisle.

Windscale fire The Windscale fire took place in Unit 1 of the two-pile Windscale facility on the northwest coast of England in Cumberland (now Sellafield, Cumbria) The fire burned for three days and released radioactive fallout which spread across the UK and the rest of Europe. Lowside Quarter Lowside Quarter is a civil parish in Copeland, Cumbria, England. It has four main settlements, the hamlets or villages of Braystones, Coulderton, Middletown and Nethertown. The parish lies between the A595 road and the sea, and the B5345 goes through the parish.

Nethertown Nethertown is a small village in Cumbria, England on the Irish Sea coast. The community is covered by the civil parish of “Lowside Quarter”, and was created out of one of the old parochial townships.
