Old Rectory, Epworth
The Old Rectory in Epworth, Lincolnshire was home to the Reverend Samuel Wesley, his wife Susanna and their 19 children, one of whom, John Wesley, grew up to become a founder of the Methodist Church. It is the site of supposed paranormal events that occurred in 1716, while the Wesley family was living in the house.
Hirst Priory
Hirst Priory is an 18th century country house and grounds in Belton on the Isle of Axholme, North Lincolnshire. The current building was built upon the site of a 12th-century Augustinian priory, (Hyrst Priory) The property was purchased by D. Stubley for £18,000 in 1903. In the early 1990s, a development group purchased the property to develop a hotel and leisure complex.
