At the Domesday Survey of 1086, Blundeston was named as Dunstuna. It was a small village in the hundred of Lothingland consisting of a handful of families. During the medieval period the land was split between two manors. In the 17th-century the hall was owned by William Heveningham who was one of the judges at the trial of Charles I.

Cannonball Express (roller coaster) Cannonball Express (Former name Enigma) is a roller coaster located at Pleasurewood Hills, Corton, Near Lowestoft, Suffolk. It is the only Schwarzkopf Jumbo V in the world, as it was the only one manufactured. It was built in 1983 for a German travelling fair.

Oulton, Suffolk Oulton is a civil parish on the western edge of the town of Lowestoft in the north of Suffolk. It borders the Suffolk parishes of Blundeston, Carlton Colville, Corton, Flixton and Oulton Broad. The western part of the parish extends into The Broads national park. At the 2011 United Kingdom census the parish had an estimated population of 4,020.
