Moreton House, Bideford Moreton House is a grade II listed country house and former large estate near Bideford, North Devon. The estate is said anciently to have been the property of the famous Grenville family. It was rebuilt in 1760 and again in 1821 and sold in 1956. The house is a fine example of Georgian architecture and had at one time ornate gardens.

Orleigh Court Orleigh Court is a late medieval manor house in the parish of Buckland Brewer about 4 miles (6.4 km) south-west of Bideford, North Devon. It was the birthplace of explorer and discoverer of the source of the River Nile, John Hanning Speke (1827–1864)
