Clenchwarton history
The Church of St Margaret was constructed in the 14th to 15th centuries. It later had an extensive Victorian restoration, now it is a listed building of grade II*. Clenchwarton railway station was constructed as part of the Lynn and Sutton Bridge Railway, which opened in November 1864 and closed in 1959.
