Woolstone is a village and civil parish about 4+1/2 miles (7 km) south of Faringdon in the Vale of White Horse. The 2011 Census recorded the parish population as 210. Woolstone was part of Berkshire until the 1974 boundary changes transferred it to Oxfordshire.
