Trent is a village and civil parish in northwest Dorset, England. It is situated in the Yeo valley 4 miles (6.4 km) northwest of Sherborne and 4 miles northeast of Yeovil. Charles II of England stayed at Trent House for several days during his escape to France in 1651.
