About Shackerstone
Shackerstone is a village and civil parish in the Hinckley and Bosworth district of Leicestershire. It is situated on the Ashby-de-la-Zouch Canal and River Sence. According to the 2001 census the parish had a population of 811, including Odstone which had risen to 921 at the 2011 census.
