About Newton Regis
Newton Regis is a village and civil parish in the North Warwickshire district. It has a population of about 700 [1], being measured as 599 at the 2011 Census. The village is not specifically mentioned in the Domesday book, but it has been suggested that 2½ hides held in 1086 in Seckington correspond to present Newton. St Mary’s church dates from the 13th and 14th centuries.
