About Marton, Warwickshire
Marton is located on the A423 road between Coventry and Southam. The village is within the Borough of Rugby and had a population of 484 in the 2001 and 2011 census’ Marton was mentioned in the Domesday Book as Mortone. In the early Middle Ages it was the centre of a Hundred named Meretone.
