About Lovedean
Lovedean is 1.4 miles (2.2 km) west of Horndean. The name derives from a marriage in 1594 when Isabel Norton married Thomas Loveden. The village is home to Woodcroft Primary School and has a sizeable 400 kV electrical substation.
