About Knowl Green
Knowl Green is a hamlet in the civil parish of Belchamp St Paul and the Braintree district of Essex. It is approximately 6 miles (10 km) west from Sudbury, Suffolk and 23 miles (37 km) north-northeast from Chelmsford. The Cherry Tree public house was recorded as such in 1933. There are seven Grade II listed buildings in the hamlet.
