Hassocks is a large village and civil parish in the Mid Sussex District of West Sussex. Located approximately 7 miles (11 km) north of Brighton, with a population of 8,319. Until 2000 the area was two parishes, named Clayton and Keymer and Hassocks was only the name of the postal district.
