About Emberton
Emberton is a village and civil parish in the Borough of Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire. The village name is an Old English word and means Eanbeorht’s Farm. In the Domesday Book of 1086 the village was called Ambretone; in manorial records of 1227 it was Emberdestone, and by the fourteenth century it was Embirtone.
