About Doveridge
Doveridge is a village and civil parish in Derbyshire, near the border with Staffordshire and about 2 km (1.2 mi) east of Uttoxeter. Its name may come from its having a bridge over the river Dove (i.e. Dove(B)ridge), a tributary of the River Trent.
