About Dormanstown
Dormanstown was built by the Dorman Long iron and steelworks in the 20th century. Originally built on the doorstep of the popular seaside town Redcar, for Dorman’s steel workers and their families. The area has evolved into a small suburb of Redcar with most of the privately owned houses built during the 1960s.
