About Crovie
Crovie is the smallest and most remote of Buchan cliff-foot fishing villages. It comprises a single row of houses, most gable-end to the sea. Unlike the similar neighbouring village, Pennan, it is situated on such a narrow ledge that any cars have to be left at the south.

Walkfo has converted physical plaques into audio files triggered by GPS on a phone when you pass close by on foot, bike, bus or car. You hear Crovie history information & more at the places where they happened, with up-to-date content created by our AI, sourced from trusted history resources such as Wikipedia, local Crovie plaque schemes, English Heritage & National Trust. Walkfo improves on existing Crovie’s physical Crovie plaque schemes with additional, more detailed information than the writing on the physical plaque.
