About Barton-le-Street
Barton-le-Street is a village and civil parish in the Ryedale district of North Yorkshire. It is located about five miles west of Malton on the old Roman road which is now the B1257. According to the 2001 census the parish had a population of 186 reducing to 170 at the 2011 Census.
