About Balkholme
Balkholme is to the south of the B1230 Howden to Gilberdyke road as it crosses the M62 motorway. It is 1.5 miles (2.4 km) north-east of the parish village of Kilpin. The Grade II listed West Linton Farmhouse is a Grade II-listed late 18th-century house. There is a small RAF memorial garden where a mid-air collision occurred during the Second World War.
